About the Attractions

The following activities are free with the purchase of a wristband. This means it is free to access these areas. Some activities will have longer wait times than others.

Live Entertainment

The festival will feature 13 hours of entertainment. All confirmed performers are listed accordingly. Please note that Lauren Fairweather will not be performing at the 2018 festival. Check back for a entertainment schedule!

Bounding Main

Located in the Minstrel Theater

Whether you gather your eye patch & parrot or want to get your Capt. Mack Bird on, these performers are sure to delight the whole family.  “What is a pirate’s favorite note to sing?  A “High Sea”  Arggggh!” Featuring Bounding Main.

Bardmageddon

Located in the Minstrel Theater

Bardmageddon has collected music from all over Western Europe, and they’re bringing their favorites right to you! Using violin, guitar, bodhrán, and vocals to create their music, these musicians will enchant and inspire you with their bardic performance.

Imaginez Ensemblez

Located in Cauldron Alley & Werewolf Island

Imaginez Ensemblez is an ensemble of professionals who create dynamic new works that have the ability to inspire, transform, and transport audiences into the realm of “What If.” Imaginez Ensemblez will be featured in Friday’s parade.

It Don't Matter

It Don’t Matter will perform Friday night after the parade.

James the Magician

Located in the Minstrel Theater

James has over 30 years of experience as a magician. He has been performing with a wild passion since he won his first talent show at the age of 7. James regularly performs magic for schools, weddings, corporate events, and everywhere in between.

Time Crash

Located on Werewolf Island

Time Crash is equal parts hard-rocking space band and sci-fi dance explosion. Inspired by the stories and characters of Doctor Who, Time Crash has released an EP, Little Amelia, and their first full-length album, Regeneration, with more to come!

RSVP

RSVP Rock Star Vintage Powertrio is compromised of 3 veteran rock players who play a refreshing mix of rock covers and originals.

Try Quidditch

Located at the Clean Sweep

If you want to try Quidditch for yourself, stop by the Quidditch Field on Saturday, October 20th from 8:30 am-5:00 pm. The program is volunteer run by our competing Teams.

Quidditch Tournament

Located at the Clean Sweep

Watch Quidditch teams from across the United States and Canada compete in the Quidditch Tournament on Sunday, October 21st.

Lighted Parade

Located near Base Camp

Following the Opening Ceremony Friday at 5:00 pm, the Lighted Parade starts at 7:00 pm. WISC-TV Channel 3 Madison will feature both the Opening Ceremony and the Lighted Parade on the 5:00 pm News.

Laser Light Shows

Laser Light Show Theater

The “Laser Light Stage Show”, is truly a work of magic and a tribute to paranormal fun.  The show is designed to entertain while allowing you to escape to your fandom.

501st Legion

Located at Heroes Landing

Visit your favorite characters from a Galaxy Far Far Away! Stop by the Wisconsin Garrison of the 501st Legion table on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.  And May the Force Be With You!

Midland of Arkhos

Located at Clean Sweep

Enjoy the fun of questing, battling, and exploring!  Arkhos is a medium immersion high quality medieval fantasy live action role play system.

Belegarth Medieval Combat Society

Location TBD

Belegarth Medieval Combat Society is a fun, safe, and inexpensive sport where participants wear medieval or fantasy-themed clothing and fight with foam-padded weapons. The fighting is hard and fast and has, since 1979, refined into its own brand of martial art.

Augmented Reality (AR) Experiences

Back to the Jurassic

Located at the Sci Fi Labyrinth

Be delighted by a life sized T-Rex, the giant diplodocus, a pack of raptors, and other 3D animated dinosaurs. INDE, one of the world’s top augmented reality companies, presents “Back to the Jurassic.”

Air, Land, and Sea

Located in the Kidz Activity Center

Enjoy watching animals from Africa to the Arctic as they interact with their environment. The “Air, Land, and Sea” AR experience was created by INDE in collaboration with the National Geographic Society.

Live Avatar

Located at the Sci Fi Labyrinth

Bring any 3D character to life and interact with the Live Avatar. The Live Avatar experience offers a 100% live interaction and is presented by one of the world’s top augmented reality companies, INDE.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Exhibit

Located in the Kidz Activity Center

Head to the Kidz Activity Center and check out the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Van built by Jay Ohrberg.

Ghostbuster Ecto-1 Exhibit

Located at the Laser Light Show Theater

Check out the Ecto-1 car from the 1980s movie Ghostbusters.

1966 Batmobile Exhibit

Located in the Bat Cave

Check out the Batmobile that was built by George Barris and visit the Bat Cave located behind the Bandshell.

Landspeeder X-34 Exhibit

Located at Heroes Landing

Check out the X-34 Landspeeder that was driven by Luke Skywalker and was built by John Stears.

Displays & Demos

Galaxy Display

Located at Heroes Landing

A true fan who assembled a display from a galaxy far far away will be available to answer all of your questions. His display will be available for all to see. No fee is necessary to view this impressive collection.

Potter Lego Display

Located in the Kidz Activity Center

Enjoy the Harry Potter Lego Collection of Eric and Emily. They have been avid collectors of the “no longer available” Harry Potter Lego Collection. A feast for the eyes. A 140 square foot display!

Glass Blowing Display

Things To Do

Corn Maze

Located at the Outer Limits

This year’s Corn Maze is dedicated to the mystery and magic of all fandoms. Come and enjoy this interactive 1.8 mile course. Have fun!

Future Foretold

Located at the Destiny Triangle

Whether you are into Palm Reading or Tarot Cards, visit with one of the many gifted guests.  Each experience is included with your wristband for a limited period of time. The actual time limit will be posted at each station.

Kidz Activity Center

Located at the Portal to Adventure

The Teenage Mutant Turtle Vehicle will be located there along with Steve and other TMNT artists for you to meet. Whether you desire to create your own potion, crayola color your favorite picture, have a temporary tattoo applied, enjoy the art work of some of the local children or even decorate your own dragon egg, this is the place to be.

Scavenger Hunt

Located at the Outer Limits

You need to download the Festival app which will allow you to play the Horrible and Cursed Objects Scavenger Hunt.  Good hunting! Stay tuned for more information on downloading the app or visit their website to learn more.

VR Experiences

Located in the Sci Fi Labyrinth

Virtual Reality or VR is an artificial environment where an individual wears a headset in order to interact within the environment. The Warriors and Wizards Festival will be offering three different VR programs – Potion Making, Exploring the Dark side of the Moon and Broom Flying.
